From TIFT's "Hard Luck Award", (Cassidy Robbins, left) to the Most Unusual Fish (Yellow Mojarra caught by Kendall Dunkin), the 73rd Awards Ceremony concluded with the a of the announcement of the Texas Grand Champ (Michael Zinda of Harlingen) and the Grand Champion Bay Fisherman (Derek Wiatrek, Falls City, Tx.)
The 73rd TIFT attracted 1207 anglers and 420 boats for two days of great fishing! It was a Sailfish tournament as five were weighed and 40 released. One Blue Marlin weighed; 12 caught and released. Twenty-one White Marlin caught and released.
